As part of my thesis research, a co-creative workshop was designed on the 'Future of Learning' with participants from various backgrounds in the field of education. The participants, through various exercises were compelled to think of future scenarios for learning. The worksheets towards the end were full of compelling and vivid ideas. Some expressed the importance of one's body in learning and communication while some talked about learning through activism. The context of the future and the questions brought out risky and authentic ideas.
The workshop design and formal took several iterations. Workshops can be a powerful tool for research and exploring insightful directions. Workshop design itself is an interesting design challenge and needs research, empathy, iterations and tests.
